Financial Controller | Up to £75k + Bonus | 2 days in the office | South East London
IN2 Consult are working exclusively with a client based in South East London who are seeking an experienced and proactive Financial Controller to lead their finance team of 3 professionals. This role is central to maintaining the financial integrity, guiding strategic financial decisions, and supporting the company’s growth initiatives. The Financial Controller will oversee key aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful financial data is delivered to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: - Financial Management: Oversee daily financial operations, maintaining accurate records and managing cash flow to ensure operational stability.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes, aligning financial outcomes with business goals.
- Reporting and Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, and prepare timely financial reports, including month-end and year-end closings.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting their professional development.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Strategic Partnership: Act as a key financial advisor to executive leadership, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency in financial processes, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
Qualifications: - Education: Must be fully qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a financial leadership role, ideally from a Hospitality or Leisure sector.
- Skills: Proficiency in financial management software, advanced analytical skills, and a strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Attributes: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and concisely. High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a strategic mindset.
