We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator to join our dynamic finance team on a 6 month fixed term contract. This is a Hybrid role and we require 3 days in the office per week.

* Processing supplier invoices and dealing with general queries, ensuring they are cleared appropriately and within the agreed timescales

* Dealing with payment queries and ensure they are resolved accurately and within the agreed timescales

* Ensuring receipt of VAT invoices and that they are followed up and reconciled

* Ensuring open and cooperative communication is maintained between internal departments to ensure the prompt resolution of queries

* Completing the weekly payment runs

* Reconciling supplier statements

* Reviewing open Purchase Orders to ensure they remain valid

* Supporting with the provision of ad-hoc information requests both internal and external

* Good numeracy and literacy skills

* A good knowledge of Microsoft applications (excel, outlook etc)

* Experience using SAP or IFS (advantageous but not essential)

* Multi-tasker who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining 100% accuracy and attention to detail.
