Our client is seeking an experienced and qualified contract Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their team, working within the nuclear sector in Bristol.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a renowned business within the nuclear industry and work on diverse and complex projects in commercial and defence sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead multi-discipline teams to deliver projects efficiently and on time.

Supervise and mentor engineers, promoting cooperation and best practices.

Manage customer relationships, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.

Oversee technical outputs, ensuring compliance with standards and safety regulations.

Contribute to business development and support tender processes.

Essential Experience:

Extensive experience as a principal or lead mechanical engineer

Experience within the nuclear sector

Applicants must have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years

Current BPSS clearance is highly desirable.

Job Type: Contract

Rate: £78 per hour inside IR35

Duration: 12 months
