About the company: One of the largest Engineering compnaies in the UK they are at the forefront of delivering innovative and market leading M&E design and delivery solutions across a wide range of sectors up to values in excess of £80m. 

They are currently seeking a talented and driven Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team on a large high security expansion project. 

Role Overview: As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and management of mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure that all mechanical aspects of the project are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development: Create and refine mechanical designs using CAD software, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Project Management: Oversee and coordinate project activities, manage timelines, and ensure the successful completion of project milestones.

Technical Expertise: Perform detailed calculations, develop project proposals, and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards.

Site Supervision: Inspect project sites to monitor progress, ensure conformance to design specifications, and address any technical issues.

Collaboration: Work closely with clients, contractors, and team members to coordinate project details and ensure client satisfaction.

Reporting: Prepare and present technical and project reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
