The Best Connection are currently looking for a Hygiene Supervisor; to carry out various duties in and around site. Based in Leeds, you'll work across all the production areas and be responsible for ensuring that all machines and the actual building always meets strict standards of hygiene.

The role will suit candidates who have worked for a small or medium company and are willing to work in a hands-on varied role. Experience within a similar role working within a food manufacturing environment is preferred.

Duties will include;

- Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks

- Cleaning of processing equipment and production lines to meet required standards, measured through swabbing

- Deep cleaning of production areas

- Post cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed properly and a cleaning sign off as evidence

- Making sure that everything you do complies with company procedures for Health & Safety and Hygiene

- Ensuring that you're cleaning, and personal protective equipment are always functioning correctly

- The ability to work effectively under pressure of time

- Reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to your line manager

- Must be of minimum required age (18) for general rules of employment

- Be able to communicate well with line manager and customer

- Be responsible for team arrangement and duties

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8pm - 2am and this role is ongoing, with a potential to go permanent after a period of time.
