Uniphar are seeking a Goods In Manager to support our Greenogue site in West Dublin. This role is in our Supply Chain & Retail division.

Supply Chain & Retail

SC&R is Uniphar's largest division and a leader in the Irish pharmaceutical wholesale, pre-wholesale and retail pharmacy markets. The division runs, owns or supports through symbol groups more than 400 of Ireland's 1850+ community pharmacies and is primary supplier to another 500. Acquisitions in this division have been primarily of retail pharmacy chains, some of which have been rebranded to the Uniphar symbol groups of Allcare Pharmacy and Life Pharmacy, others which have retained their original branding, e.g. Hickey's Pharmacies. Our Irish business continues to grow steadily and we are looking at opportunities to extend our successful Irish model to other markets.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mentor and support the warehouse Supervisors and staff in the day to day running of the warehouse
• Control absenteeism to an acceptable level
• Ensure health and safety rules and regulations are be followed correctly
• Lead projects and changes involving all of the staff where possible
• Develop and implement processes of continual improvement
• Confer with other departmental heads to co-ordinate activities
• Become actively involved in the implementation of the SAP Financial:
• Develop, monitor and deliver operational budgets
• Meet agreed budgets and KPI's as agreed in a timely manner
• Plan, monitor and approve expenditure in your area
• Continuously examine identify and implement cost saving initiatives in order to drive down costs HR/IR:
• Support the warehouse manager in all aspects of HR
• Provide coaching and development of the Goods in supervisor Health and Safety:
• Support the warehouse manager in the design and implementation of best in class health and safety practices adhering to and enforcing all relevant regulations and requirements
