We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a mainstream Primary School in Hammersmith. The role involves providing 1:1 support for a child in Key Stage 1, with a focus on Makaton communication. Experience in Makaton essential.

About the role

Provide 1:1 support to a child in Key Stage 1
Use Makaton to support communication and learning
Work closely with the class teacher to adapt lessons
Assist with behavioural and emotional support as needed
Roll will be full time, 08:30-16:00 until the end of the academic year

Have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

Have experience working in Primary Schools
Have an understanding of pre-verbal communication
