Jackson Hogg is supporting a specialist processing facility in the region in their search for an Industrial Electrician. This role is based within a busy Manufacturing environment with a focus on strong Electrical competence across general Maintenance and Site equipment.

This is a hands-on role with a focus on planned, reactionary and preventative maintenance across site. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for key electrical systems across the site.

The role includes:

* Inspection, Testing and Fault Finding of electrical systems

* Instrumentation Testing and Measuring

* Fault Finding and Troubleshooting across electrical systems, Control systems and instrumentation

* LV and HV operations

* Site Services and Facilities - Lighting, Wiring, HVAC, Alarms, Cameras etc

* Calibrations, Isolations and Safety equipment

* Documentation, Compliance and Quality control/Paperwork

This position is an exciting opportunity for an established Electrician from an Industrial Electrical background who is looking to expand upon their skills within a more high hazard, industrial setting. This is working within a High Hazard, COMAH site and as such experience in this, while not essential, is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will be a time served electrician and have experience within a heavy industrial or large chemical/processing type operation. An NVQ Level 3 in electrical maintenance is essential. Additional certifications such as HNC, CompEx, 18th Edition, Inspection & Testing 2391 are highly desired but not essential.
