This permanent role offers dynamic hybrid working with an expectation to be on-site two days per week.

The Opportunity:

Working within Major Equipment Procurement (MEP), you will collaborate with our global suppliers to enable our supplier to deliver world-leading defense capabilities to our Home Nations and their Allies. You will take charge of assembling, negotiating, implementing, and managing subcontracts throughout the entire life cycle of missiles and missile systems. Ensuring that contracts are managed effectively in terms of time, cost, and quality, you will contribute to the delivery of high-value and sophisticated sub-systems. Your role will also involve providing commercial guidance to internal customers and managing risks and opportunities to protect our clients interests.

• Prepare and execute subcontracts, either with existing partners or by conducting tender activities.
• Oversee subcontract amendments to ensure they are current and comply with the latest contracting standards and legislation.
• Perform performance management activities to ensure suppliers meet their subcontract obligations.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with suppliers in the UK, Europe, and globally.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and business risks related to your responsible suppliers.
• Obtain quotations and other critical intelligence from suppliers to enable our client to bid for new business.
• British citizenship or dual UK nationality with British citizenship, with the ability to undergo BPSS checks
