Area Manager - Waste Management

Up to £70,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an experienced Area Manager/Regional Manager to join a leading business in the Waste Management Sector.

Our client is a leading business within the Waste/Energy sector, looking for an Area Manager to join their team.

As the Area Manager, you will be responsible for:

Managing and leading sites across the Portsmouth/Basingstoke area
Managing operations over three key areas including, business management, transfer station management and operations
Support and develop new and existing business for the sites and expand existing portfolio
Lead and develop other business managers to deliver on commercial strategy
Create and implement a short and medium term strategy for the businesses across your area
Support the commercial manager where necessary
Other duties as required  
To be considered for this role you should have:

Extensive experience in a management level role
Strong leadership skills with proven experience of leading high performance teams and demonstrating change within a business
Transport management qualification is desirable
A full UK Driving licence is essential for this role
The ability to travel to various sites across Portsmouth/Basingstoke and surrounding areas
