Salary: up to £40,000 per annum + commission
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (some flexibility outside of these hours would be required depending on business needs as well as odd weekend work)
Duration: Permanent

As a Business Development and Bid Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and securing new business opportunities within the specialist and industrial cleaning sector. Your primary focus will be on identifying potential clients, preparing and managing bid, visit clients' sites and generate quotes, respond to tender invitations and building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the London and Essex regions.

Duties will include:
* Identify and target new business opportunities within the Special Cleaning sector
* Manage/ build relationship with both small businesses and large corporate decision makers
* Attend regular site visits - mainly based in London and Essex are but sometimes nationwide
* Put together quotations - make decisions on costs and close deals
* Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and market expansion
* Lead the end-to-end bid process, including the preparation and submission
* Conduct strong negotiation on bids and potential work projects
* Regularly review and assess client needs to offer tailored solutions and additional services
* Carry out site visits to assist Director with managing existing projects
* Overseeing project costs to make sure a job quoted is running to budget
* Manage an Account Manager already within the business
* Travel to quote work nationwide
Skills and Experience Required:
* Has worked in the Cleaning, Maintenance or Construction industry
* Able to use Microsoft Office, Excel and Teams
* Previous experience of using Workflow Management System would be an advantage
* Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Bid Management
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong understanding of the tender/ bid process, including bid preparation, submission, and negotiation
