We are are seeking a skilled Site Supervisor. Do you have a passion for making a difference within water and wastewater projects?  This is your chance to supervise the successful delivery of critical infrastructure projects. What you will do: 
  • Carry out on site dynamic risk assessments and identify health and safety hazards. 
  • Mechanical fault finding and problem solving. 
  • Mechanical site installations.  
  • Plan day works and ensure appropriate skill sets are applied to task. 
  • Provide technical assistance to ground operatives to ensure jobs are attended promptly and are closed efficiently / without the need for re-attendance. 
  • Represent management onsite and co-ordinate staff in emergency situations. 
  • Assist in development of routine, reactive and emergency standard operating procedures. 
  • Liaise with the customer and Project Managers to address any access issues / planning issues that may arise. 
  • Carry out site inspections and completion of site diaries. 
  • Review reports periodically to ensure the required information is being captured and a high quality is maintained. 
  • Supervise team is onsite in high profile and technically challenging tasks. 
  • Ensure all operatives are adhering to safety procedures and that near misses / accidents / incidents and non-conformances are reported. 
  • Provide support in compiling information and generating quotations for remedial works. 
  • Support Project Manager in collating remedial works packages and drafting scope of works. 
  • Supervise team is onsite and ensure efficient delivery of onsite works. 
  • Carry out site surveys and attend client meetings. 
  • Ensure stock of consumables is maintained and restocked accordingly. 
  • Carry out periodic safety observations, quality audits and vehicle inspections. 
  • Assist in the improvement of workflow management systems. 
  • Deliver toolbox talks and safety alerts to on site team. 
  • Assist Project Manager in putting together and implementation of the Method Statements and Risk Assessment control measures. 
 What you will bring: - Possess GCSE (Grade A-C) or an equivalent standard in English and Maths - Mechanical experience - Ability to motivate team - Strong analytical skills - Strong commercial acumen - Strong communication and diplomacy Hold: - CSCS or equivalent  -SSSTS - EUSR Water and Sewage (Preferred not essential) - PASMA or IPAF (Desired but not essential) - Confined space – (not essential) - Full clean UK driving licence - Working knowledge of on-site engineering projects   - Experience in on-site engineering environment would be ideal Skills and Attribute. - Good communication skills - Hard working and conscientious - Maintain a positive attitude and ability to work calmly under pressure - Ability to work on own initiative, be self-motivated and work part of a team - Work to high standard - Previous experience in the water industry (preferred not essential)  Health Safety and Environment: - Provide the highest standard of Health and Safety. - Take a proactive approach to Environmental, Health & Safety requirements.  - Be responsible for ensuring that Company QEHS guidelines and requirements are always adhered to and that all incidents are reported in accordance with the guidelines. What’s in It for You: - Competitive salary.  - 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.  - Pension scheme.  - Reward and recognition scheme.  - One charity day per year.  - Wellbeing support through Mindful Employer.  - Company health checks.  - Continuous learning and development, opportunity to progress.  - Life insurance.  - We offer comprehensive parental leave for all eligible employees.  - Time and half for Saturday and Sunday work. - Bank holiday – double time.  - Travel time exceeding one hour will be compensated at your standard hourly rate.
