Robert Half are working with an established organisation based in Dumfries and Galloway. Our client specialise in the wholesale distribution of a wide range of products. This is a full-time position. You will work within an established finance team and the role will require you to work in the office five days a week due to the nature of the work.

Suited to an experienced finance assistant, bookkeeper or accounts assistant, this role will develop key accounting skills in a fast-paced working environment.

Role Responsibilities

• General office administration, reception switchboard operation, stationary ordering, filing and maintenance of general office process.
• Purchase Ledger processing of invoices and supplier payments.
• Supplier reconciliation
• Purchase order review
• Processing of accounts payable accruals
• Provide absence cover for Sales Ledger processing
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Must have:

• Highly experienced within Purchase Ledger
• Well versed in using Excel
• Pro-active attitude
• Positive mind-set
• 37.5 hours per week
• On site parking
• Employer pension contribution

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
