Quantity Surveyor - South Brent
A leading fit out contractor are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis due to awarded projects. This role involves technical challenges including providing a high level of service through client facing and client focused practices for a variety of projects with a value up to a couple hundred thousand. If you are commercially astute and have a proven track record in a similar role and excited about the possibility of a new role, then read on. This position could be suitable for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking for progression!

Responsibilities:

Review of Contract Documents and identify contractual risks
Provide up to date information on anticipated final account figures and projected profit
Provide feedback to estimators regarding actual costs
Identify cost saving opportunities
Identify and record variations to contract
Monitor variation accounts, for inclusion where appropriate within client account
Agree final accounts and reconcile with client account
Ideally you will have a Degree in Quantity Surveying (or other equivalent qualification)
Must hold experience working in a similar role
Must have excellent communication skills across all levels of staff and management - both internal and external
Must be computer literate in Microsoft programs including Excel, Word and Outlook
