Quest Employment are working with a company that specialise in cutting-edge security and intelligence solutions, working with Government agencies both in the UK and globally to find an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join their dedicated team.

Hours:

* Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Responsibilities:

* Writing, testing, and debugging embedded software for various applications.

* Being hands on with the design, build and test of products.

* Working to deadlines and schedules.

* Working with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and requirements.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Maintaining good version control.

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Strong experience with microcontroller programming (PIC, ARM, Atmel AVR…)

* Ability to use debugging tools and possess strong problem-solving skills

* Experience with communications protocols and suitable hardware would be desirable

* Experience with designing, developing and verifying electronic schematics

* Ability to write code using best practice methods for the selected applications

* Experience with IoT & LoRa desirable

* Self-driven

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
