My client is successful, multi-skilled engineering company covering telecommunication and cable installation services - they are one of the fastest growing businesses within the sector.

This business specialise in delivering innovative turnkey solutions nationwide, including full fibre and electrical network installation to businesses and communities across the UK.

They are currently growing year on year in the UK and have a healthy turnover.

As a result of increased workload, and a significant major projects they are looking to hire an experienced Civils Coordinator to assist the Project Manager in Civils delivery across the North West.

The Role

The Civils Co Ordinator role carries responsibility for ensuring the smooth delivery of Civil Engineering

activities in a timely and cost effective manner all whilst delivering an excellent customer experience.

You will develop effective relationships with suppliers & the wider team to meet challenging time scales and be pragmatic enough to steer through complex issues.

You will facilitate improvements and efficiencies with the customer experience & schedule in mind.

You will also keep customers and partners fully updated with order progress, with close attention to delivery timelines and highlighting issues that may jeopardise successful & timely delivery.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage Civils/Reinstatement workbook with at least a 1 week look ahead

• Work closely with the project manager to track costs & schedules

• Data tracking

• Updating the customer and partners with progress

• Proactive with permit checking

• Identify and manage risks & issues to minimise the impact to schedule

• Work as part of a team to maintain a positive environment, building strong relationships

across the business

The Candidate

Experience & Knowledge

• Microsoft Office application skills

• Knowledge of Civil engineering, Reinstatement & General Civils

• Experience working in a Civil Engineering environment

• Civils admin experience

• Analysis, organisation, and planning skills

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Self-motivated and driven to meet service objectives and targets

• Enthusiastic and highly motivated with an eye for detail

• Able to liaise and interact effectively with management, technical teams, and customers

• Flexible approach and able to manage varying workload

• Team Player
