Macildowie Finance are working with a business based in North Leicestershire to recruit for a Management Accountant on a 12 month FTC basis. Our client is a growing, industry leading business who are looking for a maternity cover Management Accountant.

This role is a key position within the finance team, with the main function of this role being to produce the monthly management accounts both accurately and timely. Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Maintenance and reconciliation of balance sheet
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Collation of weekly and monthly payroll data
• Submission of quarterly VAT returns
• Development of financial controls

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Experience in a similar management accounts focused role
• Accountancy qualification - Part/Finalist ACCA/CIMA
• Confident Excel skills
• Clear communication skills
• Able to work to tight deadlines
