Location: Commutable to Halifax (hybrid working available)

Remuneration: £30,000 - £50,000 + £6,000 - 10,000 bonus

The role of the Sales Designer - Roof Trusses & Joists will involve:

* Sales Designer position dealing with a range of timber frame, roof trusses, posi-joist & I-joist projects

* Predominantly dealing with national & regional developers, house builders, and merchants

* Ensure that all designs meet the client requirements so that offsite manufacturing can take place

* Undertake sales activities including dealing with inbound enquiries and generating quotes

* Liaise regularly with architects, engineers, and contractors providing excellent customer service

* Providing technical advice and recommendations based on client enquiries

* Work closely with internal departments providing support and resolving queries

* Ensure designs meet quality standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements

The ideal applicant will be a Designer - Timber Structures industry with:

* Must have sales or design experience within the timber frame, roof truss or joist market sector

* Ideally will have experience with Mi-Tek design software however would consider: Finnjoist, Wolf System, Revit, AutoCAD etc.

* Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently

* Highly organised with good attention to detail

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbally

* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
