Role Overview:
They are seeking an exceptional Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will lead and contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge mechanical systems for a variety of prestigious projects. Your expertise will drive the success of their endeavours, ensuring that they consistently exceed client expectations and set new industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the mechanical design process from concept to completion, ensuring innovative and efficient solutions.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering designs.
* Manage and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
* Conduct thorough analysis and simulations to optimise system performance and sustainability.
* Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
* Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders, presenting design concepts and progress updates.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain our competitive edge.

Qualifications:

* Strong understanding of building regulations, standards, and sustainable design principles.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is highly desirable.
