Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative and want to start a new career in January 2025 with a well-established reputable Company?

Hours & Salary: Working between 42.5 hrs per week and 52.5 hours per week so offering great earning potential and based on a 14-week temporary to permanent position for the right candidates.

Working Monday - Friday Day Shift: 6am - 4.30pm or 730am - 430pm to depending on deliveries, £12.00 per hour for first 42.5 hours then £15.00 per hour thereafter.

Wise Employment are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to start in January 2025, where you will carry out core activities including; picking orders manually from order sheets, loading and unloading stock to and from pallets as well as vehicles, pallet shrink wrapping and operating machinery once trained. You will be working within an exceptionally organised, clean and tidy Warehouse environment that is friendly and welcoming.

Essential Skills:

Full UK Driving Licence and own transport due to location and shift start times.
Loading and Unloading experience.
Experience of reading from pick sheets and packing experience
Recent experience within Warehouse or Production.
Organised, methodical and dexterous.
Motivated, enthusiastic with the ability to work to deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to read English well, due to pick sheets.
Willing to learn and progress.
(Desirable) Fork Lift Truck Experience.
Day to Day Duties:

Operate designated machine safely and competently, ensuring that all Health and Safety procedures and housekeeping standards are adhered to.
Picking and Packing.
Lifting boxes weighing up to 25kg.
Carry out designated tasks as instructed
Complete schedules, sequences and assignments.
Maintain an organised / visual workspace.
Support key initiatives such as on time delivery,
Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager.
Be willing to provide colleagues with the information they need to complete their tasks and eliminate roadblocks.
Ensure that all procedures/paperwork are completed, kept up to date and signed off by the relevant person.
