Prospero Teaching are recruiting on behalf of a warm and welcoming school located in the beautiful area of north Winchester, committed to fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment for our pupils. Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a full-time HLTA. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing student's learning experience by providing high-quality support across various year groups. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about education.

About the Role:

As a HLTA you will:

Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in collaboration with class teachers.
Lead small group sessions and interventions to support pupil's learning.
Cover classes when required, ensuring a seamless learning experience.
Support the development of lesson plans and resources.
Provide pastoral care and promote positive behaviour among students.
Assist with the assessment of pupil progress and identifying areas for development.About you:

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire pupils.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, caring, and positive attitude.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.Location - Various locations across Dorset.

Hours - Standard working hours 8.30am-3:15pm (times may vary).

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:

A recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience (ESSENTIAL)
Previous experience working within a primary or secondary school setting (DESIRABLE)To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
