Parkinson Lee Executive Search is partnering with a globally recognised manufacturer in their search for an experienced UK Plant Manager. Our client is a rapidly expanding business committed to excellence in producing high-quality products. We seek a highly skilled and operationally focused Plant Manager to lead the plant's operations, drive business-to-business (B2B) growth, and ensure the successful expansion of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day plant operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with all industry regulations. Manage and optimise plant performance to meet production targets and maintain high-quality standards.

Develop and strengthen relationships with B2B clients, ensuring that the plant's output meets customer expectations and business objectives. Work closely with the sales and business development teams to align production with market demands.

Lead and manage project delivery teams, including contractors and consultants, ensuring effective collaboration and successful project execution. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and application stages through to plant commissioning.

Provide technical guidance and expertise to ensure the successful expansion of production facilities. Manage CAPEX budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and adherence to budget constraints.

Negotiate and manage contracts with external partners, ensuring all terms and conditions are met. Coordinate with the planning department to secure necessary permits and approvals and ensure a steady supply of materials and resources.

Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance throughout all project phases. Oversee the commissioning process to ensure the plant operates smoothly and meets all performance specifications.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a chemical plant management role, with significant experience in operational plant management, B2B engagement, and project leadership. Processing production is highly desirable.

Skills: Proven track record in managing large-scale industrial projects from inception to completion. Strong technical background with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex engineering challenges.

Leadership & Management: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a strong understanding of CAPEX management and budgeting.

Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in the chemical industry.

What We Offer:
