Lead Electrician / Electrical Site Supervisor / Electrical Working Foreman - Water Industry - With an SSSTS & 18th Edition.

A leading subcontractor delivering major MEICA installation projects across the water industry is looking for an experienced Lead Electrician / Electrical Site Supervisor to join their team. This is a hands-on role while overseeing a team of installktions staff.

With secured contracts on Southern Water and Thames Water frameworks, this role offers long-term work and involvement in large-scale projects.

🔹 Location: Southern Water & Thames Water framework projects (both options avaliable)
🔹 Stable, long-term work with a strong pipeline of projects

Role & Responsibilities:

* Supervise electrical installations on MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation) projects.

* Hands-on installation work as a working electrical foreman.

* Ensure Health & Safety compliance across site operations.

* Oversee installation quality, ensuring high standards of workmanship.

* Manage site teams and subcontractors, ensuring smooth coordination with MEICA and civil works.

* Work closely with project managers and engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Candidate Requirements:

✔ Electrical engineering background with relevant qualifications.
✔ Experience in the water or industrial sector preferred.
✔ Knowledge of MEICA/civil works interfaces.
✔ Health & Safety qualifications (SMSTS, SSSTS, or CSCS).
✔ Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
