Management Accountant- part qualified

Location: Manchester- hybrid working

Salary: up to circa £42,000 DOE

We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join a dynamic and expanding company in Manchester. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated professional to become an integral part of the finance team.

As a Management Accountant, you will support the Financial Controller in maintaining accurate and compliant financial and management accounting processes for the Group.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts pack with analysis and commentary
• Completing Month End Procedure
• Costs and variance analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Weekly revenue recognition analysis
• Monthly Cashflow analysis
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Support with budgeting
• Cash book reconciliation
• Petty Cash
• Maintaining fixed asset register
• Support annual audits
• Manage Monthly payroll
• Project margin analysis
• Supporting completion of project 'Cost to Complete' spreadsheets

Skills & Attributes:

• ACCA or CIMA part qualified or AAT qualification with strong management accounting experience
• Ability to maintain own workload and to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills to confidently and professionally liaise with all stakeholders
• A keen eye for detail and precision
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong excel skills
• Previous experience of working within manufacturing/engineering is highly desirable
