Nurseplus is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to join our dedicated homecare team in Southampton.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in community care (although not essential). As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring our service users receive the exceptional care they deserve. Working primarily in the community, you'll oversee the delivery of care, conduct assessments and build strong relationships with service users and their families.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct initial assessments for new service users to evaluate their care needs and introduce them to our services
Complete risk and manual handling assessments to ensure safe and effective care delivery
Develop and regularly review care plans to reflect service users' needs and any significant changes
Provide direct supervision to care workers, maintaining detailed records of meetings and outcomes
Ensure high-quality care by implementing quality assurance systems in collaboration with the Branch Manager and Quality Assurance Advisor
Perform quality monitoring, including telephone check-ins with service users to evaluate care worker performance
Liaise with Social Services and attend client reviews when necessary
Participate in the on-call rota, coordinating coverage for unplanned absences to maintain seamless service

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with:

Strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
Excellent assessment and written documentation skills
Competence with computers and IT systems
A proactive, organized, and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to prioritize effectively
Team spirit and a positive, solution-focused attitude
A friendly, confident, and professional telephone manner
A full UK driving license
