We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable manufacturer based in the Wrexham area. Job details:

* Design and Drafting: Create detailed floor plans and elevations for customer approval using structural mark-ups from the engineer.

* Documentation: Develop comprehensive assembly packs for on-site construction.

* Technical Detailing: Produce construction details for customer use.

* Customer Support: Liaise with customers to resolve building issues or amendments.

* 2D Drawings: Create 2D screw pile layout drawings.

Requirements:

* Software Proficiency: Experience with CAD and SketchUp is required; Revit experience is preferred.

* Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of current building regulations in England, Scotland, and Wales is highly advantageous.

* Structural Design: Previous experience in structural design is beneficial.

* Ability to read Engineering drawings.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.

* Full training will be given to candidates who are not familiar with the industry, however a strong CAD background is a necessity.
