💰 £50,000 - £70,000 + £4.5K Car Allowance

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in fit-out, refurbishment, refit, and heritage projects? Do you have the ability to price projects and manage costs seamlessly without delays between estimating and QS functions? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

The Role:

A well-established fit-out and refurbishment specialist is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their team. This is a hybrid role where you'll be responsible for both estimating and commercial management across a variety of projects, ensuring a smooth transition from tender to delivery.

What You'll Be Doing:

✅ Estimating & Cost Management - Pricing projects accurately and efficiently, ensuring realistic costings from the outset
✅ Project Values - Working on projects ranging from £10K to £2.5M, with a sweet spot of £80K - £450K
✅ Client & Supplier Liaison - Handling tenders, managing subcontractors, and negotiating with suppliers
✅ Site Travel - Conducting site surveys nationwide (predominantly Midlands & South East)
✅ Excel-Based Work - No estimating software, so strong Excel skills are essential
✅ Collaboration with Accounts Team - Orders are placed by a dedicated accounts team

What You'll Need:

🔹 10+ years' experience as a full QS - Not including junior or trainee roles
🔹 Strong refurbishment, refit, fit-out, and heritage experience
🔹 Ability to manage both estimating and QS duties
🔹 Willingness to travel for nationwide site visits
🔹 Proficiency in Excel for estimating and cost management
