About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in SEMH needs to join our team. This full-time role offers a competitive daily salary of £85-£100. The position has become available due to the expansion of our SEN support team, reflecting our commitment to providing the best possible care and education to our students.

As an SEN TA, you will work closely with small class sizes, ensuring personalised attention and support. You will collaborate with experienced teachers and SEN professionals to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. This role stands out due to our school's outstanding OFSTED rating and our innovative approach to SEN education.

Application Requirements:

• A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs or experience working with SEMH needs.

• Strong understanding of SEMH and effective strategies for support.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs.

• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

• Support classroom activities and adapt materials to meet the needs of SEN students.

• Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and SEN coordinators.
