Engineering and Food Technology Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate  Design and Technology Teacher specifically with engineering and/or food technology to join a supportive secondary school in RCT. This is an exciting opportunity for both qualified and unqualified teachers, offering a flexible role that allows you to contribute to the growth and development of students' creativity and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Design and Technology to secondary school students across various year groups.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students' practical and theoretical understanding of design and technology.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and independent thinking.
Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback.

What We're Looking For:

For qualified teachers: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
For unqualified teachers: A strong background in Design and Technology and a passion for teaching.
Previous experience teaching or assisting in Design and Technology is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
A creative and innovative approach to teaching.
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 8.15 -3.15
