Freight Administrator (6 Month FTC)

Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with experience in logistics? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where every day is different? If so, this could be the role for you.
We are looking for a Logistics Administrator to join a growing team on a fixed-term contract, with the potential for a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning shipments based on material availability and customer requests
- Tracking orders and shipments to ensure timely deliveries
- Preparing shipping documents, including invoices, purchase orders, and bills of lading
- Coordinating supply chain processes to improve efficiency and quality
- Scheduling collections and deliveries for customers
- Maintaining accurate records of orders, suppliers, and customers
Essential criteria:
- Previous experience as a Logistics Administrator, Warehouse Administrator, or similar in a logistics environment
- Knowledge of logistics software or transport management systems
- Basic accounting knowledge and strong IT skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
