Job Description:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Locum Occupational Therapist to join an acute hospital team in Nottingham. The role involves supporting discharge planning and working on a winter ward to facilitate patient flow. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute settings, strong assessment skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting functional assessments and developing discharge plans
• Supporting patients in their recovery and transition from hospital to home/community settings
• Collaborating with medical, nursing, and therapy teams to ensure safe and timely discharges
• Working in a fast-paced environment, particularly during the winter pressures period

Requirements:

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in an acute hospital setting
• Strong discharge planning skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
