PE teacher - Blackburn - January start We are supporting a secondary school in Blackburn who are recruiting for a qualified teacher of PE to join them from January until the end of the 24/25 academic year (2 terms). The role will be full time and you will be required to teach KS3 & 4 children. If you have also recently taught BTEC PE this would be advantageous. If you have experience coaching a school team of football, cricket or rugby would be advantageous, but not essential, it would be ideal if you were willing to be part of a coaching team of any of the above sports. Start date January 2025 End date - July 2025 Full time Minimum rate of pay £162.31 per day Hours 8.30-4pm Monday to Friday EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS or equivalent Minimum 1 year experience of teaching PE in the UK Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided) Up to date Prevent Awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
