Job Description:

Driver Hire Gatwick has a new opportunity for a dedicated and reliable 3.5T Van Driver to join one of our client's team, delivering air conditioning units and building materials across Sussex and occasionally to London. This role requires the ability to lift heavy items and provide excellent customer service. If you're ready to start immediately and enjoy a dynamic work environment, this opportunity is perfect for you. However the job will be based in Redhill the recruitment will take place in Crawley.

Key Responsibilities:

- Efficient Deliveries: Safely and efficiently deliver air conditioning units and building materials to various clients.
- Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction with every delivery.
- Heavy Lifting: Be prepared to lift and shift heavy items.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular checks and maintenance of the delivery van to ensure it is in good working condition.

Requirements:

- Valid Driving License: Must hold a valid UK driving license for 3.5T vehicles.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to handle physical work, including lifting heavy items.
- Punctuality: Must be able to start work at 07:00 AM and adhere to the scheduled hours.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel to London a couple of times a week.
