Role: Quality Engineer
Location: Droitwich, Worcestershire
Type: Contract - Outside of IR35
Rate: £35.00 - £40.00 Per Hour
Duration: 6 Months initial contact
 
A Quality Engineer is required on a contract basis to join an established manufacturer based in Droitwich, on an initial 6-month contract basis with potential to extend.
 
My client requires a Quality Engineer with a hands-on approach to finding and resolving manufacturing issues through performing RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) and applying 8D and 5Y processes and procedures to identify NCRs in the production environment.
 
Skills & Experience required:

Handling day to day NCRs within the production environment
Containment, Root Cause and Corrective Actions, Investigations and 8D's
Liaising with key functions to solve production issues
Writing and updating internal documents
Administration of internal NCR's using Jirra software
Customer escape management and resolution using Quality tools and methods such as RCCA, 8D, 5Y, PFMEA etc
Aerospace or Automotive experience preferred but not essential.
