This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the improvement of social housing services, ensuring high standards, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities - Deliver projects within allocated resources, timelines, and budgets, adhering to relevant standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party contractors to mobilise resources.
- Maintain regular communication with customers, providing clear updates and resolving queries promptly.
- Monitor project budgets with Finance partners and ensure accurate profiling.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing resolutions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and quality benchmarks.
- Manage contractor performance and ensure adherence to specifications.
- Lead regular project progress meetings, delivering timely updates to stakeholders.
- Support inspections, document capitalizable works, and update lifecycle data with Finance.
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing policies, processes, and systems.
Essential Skills & Experience - Proven track record of managing multiple projects to cost, quality, and time.
- Expertise in working with multi-trade operatives and managing contractor performance.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, health & safety legislation, and CDM regulations.
- Commercial awareness and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ICT systems, project management software, and Microsoft products.
Qualifications - Recognised project management qualification or demonstrable experience.
- NEBOSH or ISOH certification in Health & Safety Management.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in maintenance sector quality standards and planning.
- Full UK driving license, business-use car insurance, and access to a vehicle.
