Job Title: Commercial Sales/Design Consultant
Location: Tonbridge, Kent (office-based)
Salary: £40,000 per annum (+ good Commission Scheme, EV Sacrifice Scheme, Benenden Healthcare Plan, etc.)
Overview:
My client is a well-known award-winning business with a stellar market reputation working in both residential and commercial solar markets, primarily in the South East area of the UK.

You will be/have (REQUIRED):
· Experienced with face-to-face sales and be target driven, enthusiastic and self-motivated
· Have a track record of commercial business development
· Literate with basic computer software (you will be expected to use PV design software to a high standard)
· An excellent communicator who is professional and capable of working alone or with a small team
· Able and willing to learn and utilise technical knowledge
· Full clean UK driving license
What we are looking for (DESIRABLE):
· Previous sales experience in the renewables industry
· Ideally experienced or have an understanding of solar design, battery storage systems, financial modelling and/or construction surveying
· Have some electrical knowledge & understanding
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
· You will offer commercial clients cost-effective, quality solutions for their future energy requirements
· Develop your own prospects and take responsibility for driving commercial sales value for the business
· Conduct site surveys and preliminary system designs
· Sales activity will include consultative sales, lead generation, pipeline building/management
· Work with the design team to develop commercial PV and battery storage projects
