The Role - 1:1 Teaching Assistant

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored care to a student within the age range of 14 - 16. The student has been excluded from a mainstream school due to challenging behaviour, hence a 1:1 Teaching Assistant will require strong behaviour management skills. Experience working in a PRU would be ideal for this role. Also, 1:1 Teaching Assistants with a degree from any discipline are also valued, as the experience will help support the students' academic success.

This PRU School is based in Newham, with close transport links to the DLR. This PRU School is small with a total of 18 pupils. The school seeks to remove any barriers the students face, equipping students with the tools needed to reintegrate back into Mainstream Schools.
