Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm with a half day finish on a Friday

Some flexibility is required to help cover the company operational hours between the team, which may see you start earlier or slightly later.

An established manufacturing company who are seeing a substantial growth year on year, are looking for an additional Account Manager to join their team at their modern facilities based in Bournemouth.

This is exciting opportunity to join a leading organisation who is renowned for outstanding products.

Your role will see you providing detailed quotations for customers avionics and defence products, working closely with various departments to keep the them up to date with every stage of their order until delivery ensuring that all necessary documentation and export licences are obtained to ensure smooth delivery.

This a really exciting and important role for the company where you will be part of a team working to ensure customer and company expectations are met to the highest possible standard.

Key duties will include;

• Creating and providing quotations, following them up and making amendments as required
• Processing sales orders
• Assisting with customer enquiries including updates on order progress, product information, lead times, costs and deliveries
• Contacting customers to follow up after order delivery & check receipt
• Maintain regular contact with Customers to find out any future requirements, via phone, teams or face to face
• Liaising with various departments around the business including production and despatch

Our ideal candidate will possess;

• Previous experience in an account management role or undertaking account management as part of a role is essential
• Any experience in electronics, technical, manufacturing or engineering industry is advantageous
• A natural ability to build rapport and provide excellent customer service.
• Excellent organisational, multitasking and prioritising skills.
• Good IT skills, experience with Microsoft programmes including Excel, Word and Outlook.
