RG consultancy are working with a growing wholesaler based in Swinton who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop as there is future progression opportunities available.
Duties include:
- General ledger reconciliations
- Accruals & pre-payments
- Monthly preparation and reconciliation.
- Fixed Assets and depreciation
- Monthly and annual review.
- Assist with management account preparation
- Set up new supplier accounts in various currencies
- Sales analysis and investigation
- Forecasting - monthly forecasting of sales, cost of sales and cash flow.
- Budgeting - annual review, reconciliation and investigation of sales, cost of sales and cash flow.
- Production costing and stock valuations.
- Daily posting of all payments in GBP/USD/EUR
- Production variance investigation.
- Liaise with all parties both internal staff and external contracts at all levels, to resolve all aspects of the job.
- Ensure closure of General Ledger within four working days of month end.
