About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team full-time starting September 2024. This role has become available due to a new addition to our team, reflecting our commitment to enhancing support for our students. As an HLTA, you will work closely with Key Stage 1 and 2 classes, supporting a diverse group of students including those with SEN. The position offers the chance to contribute to a school culture that values respect, collaboration, and lifelong learning. Early applications are encouraged, and the recruitment process will include a face-to-face interview and a trial day to ensure a good fit for both parties.
Application Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or similar role in a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of Key Stage 1 and 2 curricula.
• Ability to support students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., HLTA qualification or equivalent).
Key Responsibilities:
• Support and enhance the learning experience for Key Stage 1 and 2 students, including those with SEN.
• Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons.
• Work with small groups and individual students to provide targeted support.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of personalized learning plans.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, supporting student engagement and behavior management.
