Windows C++ Developer

Location - remote but must be based in UK.

Salary - £60,000 - £80,000

Role Overview: My client is seeking a talented, self-motivated professional to join their software development team. In this role, you will support and develop new and existing Windows applications, while promoting and improving the quality of application implementation across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and support Windows applications.
Promote and enhance the quality of application implementation.
Required Skills and Experience:

C/C++ Development: Proficiency in modern C++ standards (C++11/14/17) and older C standards (C98/C03/C11).
Additional Language: Experience in at least one other programming language, preferably Python
Systems Programming: Knowledge of operating system internals, syscalls.
Windows Administration: Ability to administer and configure Windows systems and applications.
Tools and Frameworks: Familiarity with Visual Studio, C++ debugging tools, WiX installer framework, MFC, PowerShell, BAT scripting, and SCSI interface.
Additional Information:

Agile Methods: Experience with Agile development methods is preferred, with training provided if necessary.
Remote Work: The position is predominantly remote, with the company providing all necessary IT equipment. Occasional office visits are required.
