Senior Project Manager

Our client is a well-established, dynamic and highly profitable supplier of technology products and services to an impressive, international customer base.

They seek to appoint a new, Senior, member to the Project Management Team - the role will be varied and will suit someone who likes to be busy, is able to multitask and who takes a pro-active approach to work. Reporting to the Managing Director and supported by a Project Coordinator, this will be a broad, commercial and client facing. You will have Customer, Project, and financial responsibility.

The role:

* To manage the delivery of, often complex and technical, products from the point of order to delivery on customer site and thereafter. Servicing the needs of customers that are often based in remote and inhospitable locations, around the World.

* To be customer and supply facing, managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring a constant communication flow of information.

* Effective and regular interaction with engineering departments and wider teams.

* Attending regular coordination meetings with senior stakeholders, advising on next generation capabilities

* Drafting key documents regarding service description

* Drafting and maintaining spreadsheets that track data and financials of delivered and in use telecommunication hardware.

* Close working with the finance department and assisting in the drafting cost models

Candidate Requirements:

* Qualified in a Project Management discipline or be willing to acquire a PM qualification

* A proven understanding of excellence in Service to the Customer

* Proactive, able to anticipate changes/problems and to offer solutions promptly.

* A willingness to continuously learn and support new systems in a high tech, developing market

* Willing, at times, to visit customers premises both in the UK and overseas

* Security Clearance will be an advantage

The position to be office based.

Full training will be provided on product, services and industry specifics.
