Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and approve building control applications, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and BSR requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections at key stages of construction to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide expert advice to developers, architects, contractors, and residents on building control matters.
  • Investigate and take appropriate action on dangerous structures, unauthorised works, and non-compliance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with statutory and regulatory obligations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, the Building Safety Regulator (BSR), and external stakeholders to uphold safety standards.
