This role is for a diligent Financial Analyst who will support the Accounting & Finance department within an industrial/manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in financial planning, forecasting and analysis to guide important business decisions.

Description
- Monitor and analyse financial data on a routine basis on commercial/R&D projects
- Produce weekly Revenue, EBITA and Order intake reporting
- Support month-end processes, preparing journals
- Variance analysis comparing actual results to plan and forecast
- Submission of the weekly flash reporting
- Assist in production of annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- Cost tracking (G&A/Business unit) with variance analysis
- Project system administration and project finance support
- Ensure that stock and work in progress (WIP) are accurately valued in accordance with accounting policies.
- Monthy/quarterly Business and Corporate reporting
- Labour hours utilisation reporting
- Maintain weekly KPI dashboard data
- Loading loading of forecasts into consolidation/ loading capex requests
- Reporting process improvements
- Assist with ad hoc duties/projects as directed
Profile
A successful Financial Analyst should have:
- Experience and understanding of Manufacturing environments, would be ideal, but not essential
- Have experience of working within a deadline structured delivery environment
- Have experience with project accounting, but not essential
- Accurate with good attention to detail.
- Able to work autonomously and part of integrated teams
- Have excellent IT skills, especially within Excel spreadsheet development and manipulation, Power BI would be ideal
- SAP HANA S4 experience would be ideal
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Be able to work within a fast paced, ever changing business
- Experience of being involved in new systems implementations would be of interest
- This would also suit somebody who has further career ambitions to develop within organisation in the future.
- Studying CIMA or ACCA
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Maths or equivalent experience
- 2+ yrs experience in a similar role
