Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Site Manager you will:

Create and adjust daily and weekly plans for plant and process sequencing to meet demand, targets, KPIs, and other key requirements.
Oversee all operational activities-balancing hands-on and strategic management-while responding effectively to unexpected challenges to optimize commercial outcomes for Port Clarence Waste Recovery Park. Take direct ownership of escalated issues, driving them through to resolution.
Manage all daily site communications, including work planning, progress reporting, toolbox talks, and resource availability updates.
Play a key role in managing and developing site operations, acting as the authority on processes, production, and operational activities.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safety
Strong numeracy/literacy
Microsoft Office 365 proficiency.

Personal skills

The Operations Manager role would suit someone who has:

Proven experience managing large teams in a process environment.
Waste industry knowledge and qualifications preferred.
Hands-on operational and supervisory experience.
Target-driven with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
