KS1 Teacher with QTS (Contract)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced KS1 Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for a contract position in Kingston. The ideal candidate will possess strong pedagogical skills and a passion for fostering a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learning experience
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress
Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies -
Participate in school events and professional development activities
Skills and Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create engaging and innovative lesson plans
Strong classroom management skills
Commitment to continuous professional development
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
