Mechanical Lead - Helsinki - Up to €130k + Subsistence + Package

First Task Professional are delighted to be working alongside a leading Contractor in the hyperscale data centre space with projects ranging from £60-500m across Europe. The role operates on a fly in fly out rotation.

Responsibilities

* Lead and manage a team of Mechanical Engineers.

* Recommend design modifications to improve cost efficiency, streamline the construction timeline, and enhance quality and specification standards.

* Demonstrate commercial awareness and strategic thinking.

* Supervise construction to ensure high standards of workmanship and material quality.

* Collaborate closely with the contracts manager, site engineers, and discipline leads to provide subcontractors and site personnel with accurate and timely information.

* Review and fully understand drawings and specifications, promptly communicating any errors or omissions to the design team.

* Define project resource needs and inspire and motivate the project team.

* Ensure adherence to the highest health and safety standards.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

* Comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes.

* Proficient in scheduling, programming, and project sequencing.

* Proven experience in successfully leading MEP teams.

* Experience delivering MEP projects, particularly in data centres.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
