Experienced Cleaner Needed

Position: Part-Time CleanerLocation: Pontefract (WF8), West YorkshireStart Date: As soon as possible

We are seeking an experienced and reliable cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises of a primary school in the Pontefract area. This part-time role is crucial in ensuring our students and staff have a clean and safe learning environment, with the role to start ASAP and running on a long-term basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and common areas.
• Sanitizing restrooms and replenishing supplies.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Ensuring all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the school administration.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cleaner, preferably in a school or similar environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing obtain this, that we will support with.

Working Hours:

• Part-time hours, Monday to Friday, 2:30pm - 5:30pm.
• Flexibility to work additional hours if required.
