Exclusively working with a growing multi-disciplinary business that require an experienced Projects Management Accountant to join the team in the construction sector.

Projects Management Accountant - About the role

The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations within a project-focused environment. This position requires a deep understanding of financial management principles, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with project teams to ensure financial objectives are met. Key Responsibilities:

* Provide financial leadership and guidance on all aspects of project financial management.

* Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for construction projects.

* Analyse financial data to support decision-making processes and optimise project performance.

* Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment on financial strategies and objectives.

* Monitor and report on project financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

* Ensure that the projects is adhering to the budget with full awareness of the commercial and service levels agreements being met by sub-contractors

* You will be developing the financial controls within the project finance team to ensure that the objectives are being met

The successful Projects Management Accountant will be / have:

* CIMA / ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified

* Experience of working within either engineering, oil & gas, construction or engineering

* Proven experience in commercial finance management, preferably within the construction industry.

* Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret complex financial information.

* Experience of working within a project forecasting environment

* Strong stakeholder and investor management skills

* Advanced Excel skills
