Manufacturing Manager

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary: £42,000 per annum + Available overtime worth up to £20,000 per annum

Monday - Friday

Our client, a leading Engineering company based in Birmingham, have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager. The successful candidate will come from a mechanical engineering background, with strong leadership qualities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assisting sales team with accurate quoting and site visits as required
Identifying material requirements
Identifying machining/fabricating requirements
Identifying tooling requirements
Ordering non-standard parts and materials
Liaising with suppliers
Liaising with customers
Budget control during progress of all jobs
Preparing WIP's for invoicing ie; labour, materials etc.
Ensuring quality standards
Ensuring safe working practices
Training personnel
Booking in jobs/setting sales orders
